Hello, I'm Viktoria!

Welcome! I'm glad you are here. I know how confusing it can be to find the right help and the benefits that come when you do eventually find the right fit. If you are looking for counselling or coaching, feel free to reach out via the contact page.

I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and provide counselling and coaching to adults ages 18and up. I specialize in ADHD, autism, AuDHD, learning disabilities, giftedness, and twice/thrice exceptionalities. I see clients virtually only in Ontario. I also provide counselling for other needs such as anxiety and stress, sleep problems, work stress issues, self-esteem issues, or relationship issues. I am a certified ADHD Coach, and ADHD Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). I completed a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Psychology and Women’s Studies and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology.  I have 21 years of professional experience as well as lived experience and understand the bumps in the road that you may have encountered.

My Story:

I began working with neurodivergent adults and their families in 2003 at Kerry's Place Autism Services. I provided in-home services as well as residential support. I moved on to working with Erinoak Kids as an ASD Consultant in partnership with the schoolboard. I continued working in both children's mental health and adult mental health in community and healthcare services over the years providing therapy, coaching, and case management. I've also had the pleasure of having numerous neurodivergent people in my personal life. I myself, have a learning disability and late diagnosed ADHD.

My Approach:

I believe in an approach that is empathic, strength-based, accepting, and affirming. Whether it's therapy or coaching, I will work with you to help you let go of the things that no longer serve you. I believe in the importance of a collaborative relationship in order to help you achieve your desired outcome.  I will take my time to listen carefully to ensure I fully understand your needs and situation. I bring my genuine, non-judgemental self to our sessions, at times using humour as appropriate. I also provide practical strategies and techniques to face your challenges, while helping build your own strengths and resources.

My Methods:

I use an integrative style to fit your unique needs. The foundation of my work is Person-Centered Therapy. I am also trained in various other evidence-based modalities, which I use as appropriate based on your unique needs. Learn more about my thoughts on therapy and my approaches by watching this short video where I provide more details about my therapeutic style.

Let's talk so we can determine if my approach and style are the right fit for you! Feel free to head over to the contact page to set up a free, no obligation consultation.
